As pet insurance enrollment surges, each animal hospital EMR has a different medical code system, forcing billing staff to manually convert codes when claiming to insurers. Hospitals spend over 40 hours per month on code mapping, and mapping errors lead to frequent rejections and re-claims.
A REST API that bidirectionally auto-converts medical codes from 5 major veterinary EMR systems into insurer-specific claim codes. Inputting medical records exported from the EMR returns claim data mapped to the target insurer's format, including codes, descriptions, and amounts. When new codes appear, the mapping table auto-learns from user feedback.
