Problem

Hybrid companies' facility management teams face chronic shortage of actually available meeting rooms due to no-shows (averaging over 30%). Detecting no-shows requires manual checks after the reservation time, and reassignment and penalty enforcement are also manual, so the issue is effectively left unaddressed.

Solution

Based on occupancy sensors or calendar check-in data, automatically flags a no-show if no check-in occurs within 10 minutes of the reservation, auto-reassigns the slot to waitlisted users, and imposes booking restrictions on repeat no-shows. Input: calendar API + occupancy sensor/check-in data. Output: auto-reassignment notifications + no-show statistics dashboard + penalty rule engine.

Target: Facility management teams at companies with 200+ employees / meeting room operations managers at coworking spaces
